We have optimised farming practices to produce chillies on a commercial basis using greenhouses on site in Lusk. The production cycle takes approximately four to ten months from planting to harvesting with a fully integrated system in operation.
Biological controls and natural beneficials are used in the greenhouse to allow the chillies flourish in a natural environment. Beehives are positioned in the greenhouse to naturally pollinate the crop and promote biodiversity across the farm.
Chilli peppers are very high in vitamin C. Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant, important for wound healing and immune function. Vitamin B6 and Potassium are also key elements of chilli peppers.
Products are available at varying levels of ripeness. Chilli varieties include Fire-Flame and Daredevil, which offer a unique combination of intense aromatic flavour and heat. All chillies are harvested by hand ensuring rigorous quality control standards.
